Week 8 Power Rankings

WEEK 8 POWER RANKINGS
Â
1. NO – I think it is becoming pretty obvious at this point.  They are on pace to break the single season scoring record, and they are not only an offensive team anymore.
2. DEN – I have no reason to change my stance as the Broncos at #2.  Even when they lose, I still love what McDaniels is doing out there.
3. INDY – the Manning Machine just keeps rolling
4. MIN – I almost like what I saw in them in a loss more than some of their wins.  A horrible penalty kept them from going ahead late, and even when it looked over they still almost brought it back.  If not for some extremely bad fortune they would still be undefeated, the best team did not win that game.
5. NE – I know they have been taking advantage of bad opponents as of late, but they are getting their swagger back – so watch out.
6. CIN – if you still don’t believe, then I have two words for you – CHILD PLEASE
7. PIT – they still have big issues, but it will be another double digit win season again this year
8. ARZ – they are looking like the Cardinals down the stretch last season, that was a BIG win in NJ
9. NYG – they have some very big issues right now and have been exposed in certain aspects, if they don’t right the ship soon this division can leave them behind
10. PHI – right in the thick of thing in the east, it anyone’s game at this point in the season
11. DAL – Jerry Jones was right it was a must win, it was a huge victory for them and puts them right back in it.  How fast things can change in the NFL
12. ATL – they should be fine, after all it was in Dallas, they will bounce back
13. BAL – A perfect time for an off week before two very tough games, then their real bye week when they play the Browns.  If they don’t win some of these really tough games they will soon be forgotten.
14. HOU – The may actually have a chance for their first winning season.
15. SF – Maybe Alex Smith is the answer after all, won’t that be nice for the 49ers.
16. MIA – I know this looks crazy, but I still believe they will have a winning season, which is more than I can say for the rest of the list.
17. SD – I see just another 500 average team here.
18. GB – A win over Ohio’s Junior Varsity team doesn’t prove much.  But not giving up a sack means they might be able to take Rogers off the endangered list, but then again it was against the Browns so…
19. JAX – Stl, bye, Ten, KC; wow who do you have to screw to get that run
20. NYJ – the good news is Sanchez was the leading passer in last week’s game, the bad news is it was with 143 yards passing and he was outgained by their 3rd RB with 144 on the ground – I am simply not a believer AT ALL
21. CHI – they are like a George Carlin standup – both offensive and comical
22. BUF – have shown to be able to surprise any team over looking them
23. CAR – in serious need for a change
24. SEA – just don’t have to horses to compete down the stretch
25. OAK -
26. WASH – they need a football man in their running the show from the top
27. DET – GAME OF THE WEEK – Detroit VS. St. Louis, need I say more
28. TEN – Might as well give Vince Young another shot; there is simply no reason why not.  If nothing else to build his value, if tere is any, but now the definitely is not.
29. KC – Were LJ’s comments about their head coach indicative of the thought in the locker room, or just a diva acting out?
30. CLE – one word come to mind SWINE, and this has nothing to do with the flu making its way through their locker room
31. TB – officially running their campaign for the #32 spot
32. STL – this week might be their best shot at a victory
