Chad’s Week 9 Power Rankings
NO – true, they are starting to look great, but they will have to earn it this week against CAR, who have won seven in a row in NO
IND – it’s just a matter of time that Manning will have an off week, then we will see just how good the rest of this team truly is, but until then, the machine keeps moving
MIN – ya I know they are too good to be 3rd
DEN – a stumble for Mac and the boys but they are still a work in progress, that’s the scary thing
NE – they are the rock of the league, they are here to stay
CIN – the real deal and they will show it by beating a hell of a Raven’s team… again
PHI – they are putting on a show, and the show will go on
PIT – not great but pretty damn good, 8 seem like a perfect spot
DAL – even if they lose this week, they are in good shape
BAL – another tough one for them, the playoff will sure be represented by the AFC North but will the Ravens be one of them, they are going to have to win some more of these real tough ones to do it
ATL – sometime appear not to be able to play with the big boys, but winning the one they are supposed to, does put them in a nice spot
NYG – this is almost a must win for them, they need their dignity back if they are going to have a shot at this thing
HOU – really going in the right direction, finally, but losing Daniels is going to hurt
ARZ – who are these guys? For week to week I don’t know who to expect
MIA – they are going to have to put some wins in a row, but going to NE isn’t they way to do that
GB – Getting their bookend tackles back and healthy is going to be a huge lift, they won’t be the worst OL in the league anymore, Chicago please step up and receive your prize. If RT Tauscher plays well, GMs around the league are going to have some explaining to do.
SF – continue to almost do it, just a little bit more and your there
SD – it’s a shame this sort of talent can’t find a way to be taken seriously
CHI – let’s see the newest way the Bears find to embarrass themselves
CAR – starting to look better, I think I am going to go on the record and pick the Panthers to win the NFC South next year
NYJ – while they are waiting Sanchez to come together they have Jones to keep them close
JAX – if they could stop the run as well as they could run the ball they might have something
BUF – sometimes they look like an actual NFL team but to be legit they are going to need SOMEONE to play QB
TEN – look out their arrow is clearly pointing upwards
OAK – they have problems at all levels; defense, offense, special teams, coaching staff, front office, and obviously ownership
WASH – speaking of issues with ownership, hey Snyder this isn’t your fantasy league; take a step back would you please
KC – they have a long way before they get this thing pulled together
SEA – best of the worst, well maybe not
CLE – simply laughable, how bad are these next teams that somehow CLE gets the 29 spot
STL – hey, hey what do you say, no more #32, they jumped two spots with that victory
DET – um… ya, how can you even pretend that you are moving in the right direction if you lose to the damn Rams
TB – the organization must have been upset about losing the worst season crown, so they seem to be making a push to get it back
